Adriana called again. When she was 15 she and a friend were caught with copies of the U.N. Human Rights. Even though she was a good student she was told she could not go to college because college was for "revolutionaries" She was told she could only go to a trades school. So she left (illegally) to Venezuela. After 3 years there where she was basically starving, she managed to come to Miami (illegally). After awhile she was able to get citizenship, but she says it was the most humiliating process ever.

She says the U.S. is like Cuba but with make up. She is leaving tomorrow to go back to Cuba to see her family, but since The US won't alow her a travel permit , she is going illegally, again!
